Gwen Joseph
Worthington Steel Company
Gwen Joseph serves as Corporate Controller for Worthington
Steel, where she is responsible for the company’s accounting operations,
financial reporting, technical accounting and related financial controls.
Gwen joined Worthington Industries in 2020 as Director of
Internal Audit. Following the separation of Worthington Steel as an independent
public company, she served as Director of External Reporting, leading the
company’s external financial reporting and SEC filings, technical accounting
activities, acquisition-related accounting and integration efforts.
Prior to joining Worthington, Gwen spent eight years with
PwC, providing audit services to clients across a variety of industries,
including manufacturing, chemicals, technology and healthcare. She also held
accounting and financial reporting leadership roles with L Brands and DSW,
focusing on SEC reporting, statutory reporting, technical accounting and
financial consolidations.
Gwen earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
and a Master of Accountancy from Wright State University.
She and her husband, Britt, have two children and reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.
