Philosophy at Work

Our Philosophy guides and encourages us to practice good citizenship and we reflect it through our people and our partnerships with charitable organizations. It is not just the good thing to do, but the right thing to do. From supporting children in need through initiatives like Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to partnering with Blue Star Moms to connect U.S. troops with the comforts of home, we strive to make life better for people at every level.

Strong for Our Communities - 70 For Good

Our Operating Philosophy enables us to support worthwhile community causes in the areas in which we live and work. As part of our 70th anniversary, we launched an initiative called 70 for Good – a Companywide effort to support 70 nonprofit organizations through volunteering, donation drives and other acts of service.

Through this initiative, we supported a total of 78 nonprofits, with 4,859 total volunteer hours and $65,505 donations and in-kind support.

Encouraging Community Involvement

We encourage our employees to take an active role in their communities, both at work and after hours. We understand the importance of giving back. That is part of the reason we established The Worthington Companies Foundation. In 2025, the Foundation contributed $3.1 million to 73 organizations in its focus areas of health, human services, youth & education and civic causes. Throughout 2025, we highlighted 70 For Good, where our employees companywide made it their mission to honor our Company’s 70th year in business by supporting over 70 nonprofits.
