HYDROGEN ANNEALING

Hydrogen annealing is a treatment of steel where it is heated to and held at a specific temperature followed by a controlled cooling process.

Annealing softens metals and simultaneously changes the properties of the metal, improving:

• machinability
• facilitation of cold-work
• mechanical and electrical properties
• stability of dimensions
