WORTHINGTON STEEL: COMMITTED TO OUR CUSTOMERS

When you become a Worthington Steel customer, you are forming a partnership with a steel supplier who has provided strong, stable and innovative leadership for decades in the steel industry. We pride ourselves in our long-term relationships with our customers and steel suppliers. It's important to us to not only win the business, but to earn it with each job we do.

EXCEEDING YOUR STEEL PROCESSING NEEDS

Our team of sales professionals and metallurgical experts will work with you to find ways to reduce your costs while providing you with the steel products and services you need to maintain a fast and efficient manufacturing process. It's never enough for us to just sell you a product anybody can do that. At Worthington Steel, we are committed to the quality and service our longtime customers have come to expect.

REDUCING CUSTOMER COSTS, RISKS & STRESS

We helped an automotive components company save $2.5 million in freight costs when they consolidated steel pickling, steel edge trimming and steel configured blanking currently done at three separate vendors into one managed process at our facilities.

We assisted a stamping customer, dealing with weld problems that put quality and deliveries at risk, by making adjustments to their weld line and setup to allow them to make acceptable parts and keep their promised deliveries.

We aided a motorcycle clutch manufacturer by consolidating three separate processes (steel pickling, steel configured blanking and steel dry-lubing) under one roof. Now, they take advantage of all these services provided by one Worthington Steel facility.

PROVIDING A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

A custom roll-forming customer took advantage of our knowledge about the Chinese market, as well as our international tooling connections, to quote future tooling expenditures through global sources. Thanks to this arrangement, we were able to save the customer more than 50 percent (thousands of dollars) in tooling costs, providing a competitive advantage while increasing their credibility with worldwide companies in the metal fabricating industry.
